Awardees are identified from two flight decks. Coalition Administration recognizes achievements across the community, while the Coalition AI Copilot analyzes alliance statistics and identifies outstanding performance.
Echelon Air Medal
Exceptional Overall Achievement [CC]
The Echelon Air Medal is one of the Coalition’s premier honors, awarded to an airline whose overall performance, participation, growth, and contribution exemplify the standards of Echelon. It recognizes an operator that didn’t simply excel in one category, but demonstrated the kind of sustained excellence that strengthens the entire Coalition.
Afterburner Award
Exceptional Growth [CC]
Awarded to an airline demonstrating extraordinary growth over the award period. Whether expanding its fleet, contribution, operations, or overall capability, the recipient has shown what happens when ambition meets the throttle—and then politely asks the throttle to move out of the way.
Sortie Master Award
Outstanding Flight Operations [CC]
The Sortie Master recognizes the airline that distinguished itself through exceptional flight activity and operational tempo. Every departure represents another aircraft moving, another route being worked, and another contribution to the Coalition. This award honors the operator who kept the flight board very, very busy.
Heavy Lifter Award
Outstanding Alliance Contribution [CC]
Awarded for exceptional growth in regular Alliance Contribution. The Heavy Lifter recognizes an airline whose operations delivered substantial measurable value to Echelon—not through a single spectacular flight, but by consistently putting aircraft in the air and moving the Coalition forward.
Full Throttle Award
Exceptional Contribution Growth [CC]
The Full Throttle recognizes the airline demonstrating the greatest improvement in its daily contribution rate. It celebrates an operator that found another gear, increased the productivity of its operation, and turned yesterday’s performance into today’s starting point.
Checkered Flag Award
Season Excellence [CC]
Awarded for outstanding performance during an AM4 Season. The Checkered Flag honors the airlines willing to optimize aircraft, refine routes, chase points, and occasionally question their own life choices in pursuit of the leaderboard. When the race is on, these are the operators Echelon wants on the grid.
Rising Wing Award
Outstanding Emerging Airline [CC]
The Rising Wing recognizes a newer or developing airline demonstrating exceptional promise, growth, participation, and determination. It is not an award for simply being new—it is recognition that an emerging operator has already begun making its presence felt and has given the Coalition good reason to watch what comes next.
Precision Strike Award
Excellence in Efficiency & Optimization [CC]
Awarded for exceptional operational efficiency, optimization, or strategic execution. The Precision Strike recognizes the operator who proves that bigger numbers aren't always about bigger fleets; sometimes the difference is understanding exactly where, when, and how to deploy what you already have.
Wingman Award
Service to Fellow Members [CA]
Some contributions never appear on a leaderboard. The Wingman Award honors an airline that gives its time, knowledge, experience, or assistance to help fellow Coalition members succeed. It recognizes the people who understand that Echelon becomes stronger when its members help one another climb.
Commander’s Commendation
Distinguished Achievement - [CA+CC = Joint Recommendation]
Awarded at the discretion of Coalition leadership for an achievement, action, or contribution deserving special recognition that may not fit within another award category. The Commander’s Commendation exists because not every exceptional contribution can—or should—be reduced to a statistic. When someone does something worthy of recognition, Echelon should have a medal for it.
